Every Thursday, right after our novena at St. Jude, it’ll be a routine for my friend Julie and I to drop by and fill our hungry stomach with delightful meals at Cruise Gourmet. The Restaurant was opened last August 15, 2010 and was made to be the training ground for the CHSM Culinary Team such as The Food Handlers trained by Malacañang Chef (Bambi), GSTA Chefs (Raul, Jake, and Maui), assisted by (Chef Chato - F&B Directress) and key persons in CHSM HRM and Tourism Programs. We discovered it while we’re heading to my favorite carinderia way back my college days called Calamares House (Trust me! They got the best calamares in the whole metro manila!) but as soon as we reached calamares house, I noticed that there’s a new cool and relaxing place that was born in front of the busy and wild first strip. So we checked on the menu posted on the door and to my surprise, the prices are sooo affordable!

Immediately, we ordered and while waiting, I managed to take some pictures inside (unluckily, I always forgot to bring my camera with me...sorry for the poor resolutions).
"Ship and Sea" theme will really cool your mind! =)

Since the restaurant was made both for HRM and Tourism students, they have a corner where you can buy art crafts coming from different places.
Yours truly while patiently waiting for our orders...

After few minutes, our orders came and whoa!!! The food presentations were great even though the prices are cheap!
Fillet O'Chix Php99 (comes with a glass of juice)
Chicken Fillet with Light Mushroom sauce (Almost Gravy like)
with lightly grilled corn chips and snaku as side dish.
What I like about this is that it's not salty and the Chicken is well-done.

Crispy Garlic Adobo Php99
dry-cooked adobo chicken chops fried to perfection.
A MUST-TRY!

Beef Tapa with Garlic Rice Php75
Julie likes it and every time we eat there, she orders for this one. (I didn't try it coz I don't eat beef)

Brown Chops Php99 (Comes with a glass of juice)
same taste as that of  Fillet O'chix..Cooked till Medium rare

A glass of Juice for Php25 to 40.

Blueberry Crepe Php60
The chocolate syrup does not go well with blueberry. DO NOT TRY THIS!

Peach Crepe Php60
The peaches they used sucks! I think it has been stocked in the ref for ages!

Check on their menu:

After eating, My friend and I decided to have a picture on their logo because WE LOVE CRUISE SO MUCH!

Ristorante delle Mitre

Ristorante delle Mitre
Address: Gen. Luna corner Real St.Intramuros, Manila (Right in front of San Agustin Church)
Budget: 100pesos-200/meal
Before Julius leaves for work, He invited me for a jog and have an Intramuros trip, he said that we're going to have a breakfast date in a "HOLY RESTAURANT". I got curious about what he means by "HOLY". He said that It's a restaurant where Bishops dine. For the love of food and of course him, I agreed.

After Doing half of our Intramuros trip and Practicing my photography skills, our stomachs starts to scream for food, so we decided to eat, unfortunately, we can't find it. we asked the people who works in Intramuros and shame on them, they don't even know where Mitre is! Luckily, with great instinct, Julius was able to locate the place=)

Upon entering, I noticed that the place is cozy and very homey. So i took some of the pictures inside the restaurant.

Then a pleasant waitress handed us the menu... Check 'em out! all of their foods are reasonably cheap! After all, It's a sin to overly priced the foods...=))

We waited for some ample time and while waiting, again, I took some pictures inside...

This is what Mitre is. And I'm Overwhelmed when I found out that they do hire people with hearing disabilities, Indeed, this place is Holy!

Check that out! Their Sue Chef is a nun!
